Evyn J. Barron is an award-winning director, cinematographer, and editor based in Atlanta, GA, with a passion for every aspect of the craft. In 2023, Evyn co-founded the gear rental and film production company "Rhude House" and in 2024, Graduated from Kennesaw State University with a B.S. in Media & Entertainment. As a hands-on creator, Evyn has experience in many roles ranging from gaffer and key grip to camera operator and sound mixer, with a focus on film but also expanding into commercial work and music videos.
Evyn’s filmmaking journey began at KSU, where he helped create the For Film's Sake (FFS) film club in 2020 and served as president for two years, contributing to numerous short films. It was within this community that he honed his skills and deepened his love for filmmaking. In 2022, Evyn premiered his first film, "Operation: Spam," a project he took from concept to completion entirely on his own—writing, directing, producing, editing, and even animating. This "one-man army" approach underscores his dedication to storytelling in all its forms.
